Zucchini Burger
As you may have noticed, zucchini is the king of our gluten-free kitchen. We add it to almost all the dishes we prepare because it has a neutral taste and a great texture. So why not use zucchini to make burger buns?
You can serve these buns with any fillings, such as salmon with guacamole for breakfast, prosciutto with fresh tomato for lunch, or a burger patty for a classic burger.
Recipe features:
- Gluten-Free: The recipe does not use any ingredients that contain gluten; we use regular gluten-free flour from the supermarket.
- Simple: The recipe consists of two main simple steps.
Ingredients, for the buns:
Filling: to taste your fav burger meat like beef or chicken
Instructions:
- Grate the zucchini, add a pinch of salt, and let it sit for 5 minutes. Squeeze out the excess moisture.
- Add the egg and flour, and mix well.
- Take a small deep plate (this will help shape the bun), grease the bottom with oil, and pour in the zucchini mixture.
- Place it in the microwave for 6-7 minutes on maximum power.
- Repeat the same steps for the second bun.
- Add your desired filling.
